Shipping Policy

We currently ship to the UK mainland using a DPD Courier delivery service costing £4.99.

Alternatively, you can collect from Benfleet, Essex (SS7).

WHEN WE DELIVER?

  • Delivery dates are selected at the cart stage of checkout.
  • You can now choose a delivery date up to 3 months in advance using our delivery date picker.
  • We will typically dispatch your order 24 hours before your chosen delivery date.
  • Please note Monday deliveries will be dispatched on Friday. On rare occasions these may arrive on Saturday as a result DPD procedures at certain depots. In this instance you will receive a notification from DPD in advance.  

HOW DELIVERY WORKS?

Once your item is shipped, DPD will contact you via email/SMS to confirm your detailed shipping plan which includes a 1 hour delivery slot. 

If you/the recipient are not available to receive your parcel at the nominated time, please select an alternative delivery option via the link in your DPD email/SMS. Options are as follows:

  • Change your delivery date.
  • Have your parcel dropped in a nominated safe place.
  • Deliver to a neighbour.
  • Send to a DPD collection point near you.

MISSED DELIVERY?

If your delivery is missed, DPD will typically try and deliver a second time - however this is not always guaranteed.

If your delivery is attempted twice and you/the recipient are not home, and you have not selected an alternative delivery option, your parcel will be returned back to sender and destroyed given its perishable nature.

This cannot be changed once reconsigned so we strongly recommend that you make the necessary arrangements when you first receive your shipping plan email/SMS from DPD.

Please note DPD will not leave your parcel in a safe place unless you request that they do so.

DELAYS?

98% of DPD shipments arrive on time, however on rare occasions, DPD may not be able to deliver your parcel on your chosen date for reasons that fall outside of our control. As a result we are unable to offer refunds on the basis of these delays.

Our courier's policy, precludes them (and therefore us) from investigating a missing parcel until 10 working days have elapsed from point of dispatch.

LETTERBOX DELIVERY?

Please note that our mixed boxes do not fit directly through a standard size letterbox as they are extremely chunky. More than 800g of chunkiness in fact, with sturdy packaging that keeps them safe and secure in transit. 

ADDRESS ERRORS

We are completely reliant upon the address information that is input by the buyer when the order is placed. We ship all parcels in accordance with these buyer instructions and therefore cannot accept liability for deliveries made to incorrect addresses. We will therefore not be able to offer refunds on this basis.

WHERE DPD DON'T DELIVER?

DPD don't currently deliver for us in the following locations. Orders requested to these locations will be sent using Royal Mail's Tracked 24 service (usually dispatched within 1-2 working days): 

  • Scottish Highlands
  • Scottish Islands
  • Northern Ireland
  • Channel Islands
  • Isle of Man
  • Isle of Wight
  • Scilly Isles.
